As the name itself suggests, this is a plant that can be found mostly in Europe and some parts of Asia. It does not rely on its own for growth. Rather, it attaches itself on trees. This is why it is considered as a semi-parasitic plant.

The most beneficial parts of this plant are its flowers and leafy twigs. These parts are regarded as panacea. It simply means they are helpful in treating all kinds of health conditions.

American Mistletoe is a close relative of European Mistletoe. The difference is that the latter have been more extensively studied for its health benefits. On the other hand, American Mistletoe is deemed as toxic.
